2023 Green Mountain ShootOut 

The Green Mountain ShootOut is planning to take place this year.

The dates for the GMSO are:

 June 10 & 11, 2023. 

 

 

Below you will see the organizational details from 2022 to give you an idea of what we will attempt to faithfully replicate in a safe, responsible and fun manner.  Stay tuned, support you family and teammates.  Most importantly, Stay Safe!

Again this year, In a proactive effort to maintain the high quality of the GMSO, we have capped the number of slots available for teams.  Also, unfortunately, >> - No Dogs at either venue

This means we will accept teams on a first-come, first-served basis. As brackets fill up, the teams who are accepted will be determined by the date of the registration and PayPal transaction or postmark of the check.


 Brackets (teams per day)
 Boys U11   =    8     Girls U11   =  8
 Boys U13   =  10     Girls U13   =  6
 Boys U15   =    8     Girls U15   =  6

 

Divisions of Competition:   

  • Under 15 / 7th and 8th grade
  • Under 13 / 5th and 6th grade
  • Under 11 / 3rd and 4th grade

For example, U15 / 7th and 8th grade look like this;  Youth  players will be age 15 years and under, in grade 8 or below, and further qualify as follows in order to participate in the  GMSO youth lacrosse activities:
  (a) player has  not attained 15 years of age as of August 31st in the year preceding the GMSO event; and
  (b) the player has not participated in any high-school program as a member of high school freshmen,  junior varsity, or varsity team.
                               
Eligibility:    

Based on player’s age as of the August 31, preceding competition

Games:  

Four games per team, two per day. Games will be two 22-minute running time periods with a 5-minute halftime.  

U11 games will be 7v7, small field, small goals

Cost:  

$400 per team for the weekend or $225 per day for Saturday or Sunday (non-refundable unless  we cannot accommodate your team)
